A Swedish study links mobile phones to brain damage

Researchers at Sweden's Lund University say these rat-brain cross-sections show evidence of brain damage from cellphone radiation. While the controls (example, top) appear healthy, the test subjects (bottom), which were exposed to a 2-hour dose of cellphone radiation of varying intensities, are heavily spotted with proteins (dark patches) leaked from surrounding blood vessels, and show signs of significant neuronal damage.

World renown physician and author, Dr. Sherry Rogers, cautions that cell phones’ electron radiation smog causes Leaky Brain Syndrome, and that radio frequency electromagnetic fields make the blood-brain barrier so leaky that even large blood proteins like albumen, which are also the carriers for a lot of drugs and chemicals in the body, pass right through into the brain where they damage the neurons.  This leakage also allows an onslaught of heavy metals into the brain and it happens within a few hours of exposure.  Once it is triggered, the leaking lasts as much as eight weeks after one exposure.  Therefore, many other environmental chemicals can pass into the brain and stockpile during this time.

Dr. George Carlo, the cell phone industry’s former chief scientist, wrote an alarming book on the extreme health hazards posed by wireless communication devices.  The book is titled Cell Phones, Invisible Hazards in the Wireless Age.  His findings on the dangers posed by the microwave radiation from cell phone antennas – disrupting cardiac pacemakers, penetrating the developing skulls of children, compromising the blood-brain barrier, and most startlingly, inflicting genetic damage that is a known diagnostic marker for cancer – are given clear voice as Dr. Carlo brings his case to the public in this examination of the hard science and the shady politics of a reckless high tech industry now mired in personal injury and class-action litigation. 

"Would You Put Your Head in a Microwave Oven?" subtitled Radiation Hazard By Gerald Goldberg, MD is probably the most poignantly posed refuter to those who say we should throw all caution to the wind. The lead-on question is: "If it can cook my food, why wouldn't it cook my brain?  Sure, our brains are designed to recover and rebuild healthy tissues even after exposure, but why take the risk that it won't? This book simply points out that the gradual rise in illness across broad geographic areas are an early indicator of microwave illness, independently of what the experts lead you to believe.

Robert O. Becker, M.D. showed in his 1990 book, Cross Currents, The Perils of Electropollution, how our human bodies and immune systems are being adversely affected by man-made electromagnetic fields from power lines, radar, microwaves, satellites, ham radios, cell phones, computers, video display terminals, and even electric appliances.  In his book, Dr. Becker pointed out that radiation once considered safe, is now correlated with increases in cancer, birth defects, depression, learning disabilities, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Alzheimer ’s disease and Sudden Death Syndrome.

The wireless age is unrelentingly upon us.  In just 20 years, the wireless industry has profoundly transformed the lives of people, businesses and societies globally.  It has also become a 200 billion dollar a year industry.  In recent years, an increasing number of cell phone base stations have been placed on the grounds of our children’s schools, colleges,  and government buildings (including fire stations), and have even been housed in the steeples of churches where our 2, 3 and 4 year old children attend pre-school.  Now, plans are underway for major cities in America to go entirely wireless; i.e. Philadelphia, San Francisco, New Orleans, Louisville and others.  Since cell phones have been introduced (in 1984) we have seen the proliferation of Fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ADHD and Autism.  More and more people are suffering from fatigue, headaches, dizziness, tension and sleep disturbances.
