Already, members of the alternative "Maverick" media are making HUGE changes in our planet and with the strategies we are going to give you, we can even more effective - with relatively little effort. Furthermore, these strategies will be marked by very real and measurable results.

There are two EASY ways you can get involved:

STRATEGY #1: TELEVISION

The goal is to do more than just inform. YouTube and other on-line internet mediums have provided a channel for that. We need to take over our mainstream media and the place to start is on television. If we work together, we can get airtime for FREE. The key is - if we can working together...

We are networking with numerous liberty organizations to help them get the word out about upcoming events. Here's where you come in. We have a background in Cable Television. I (Brenda) managed a station for five years. We know how the insider tips to get shows on air very easily and have contacts with station directors across the United States. These stations have policies, but if you know how, it is a straightforward process to get on air - at no cost. And, we talk about issues that the mainstream media never covers. We know what to do and what not to do in order to get shows on both Cable-on-demand and on access stations. But most stations require a LOCAL resident to submit these shows. It will only take a little of your time - about 45 minutes to attend an orientation and fill out some paperwork.

We will produce a television show for you for your local station. The show will alert the public to upcoming events such as the Tea Party in their area or when an important infringement on their liberties needs their attention. This provides a news forum for many organizations to get their word out. So you may be involved in a 2nd Amendment organization, but also help get out a message for a 1st Amendment organization the next week. It's too hard for each of these organizations to set up a network of station affiliates themselves, but because we are already have access to these channels - and now they can easily get out important news.

It's easy to get involved and make a HUGE difference:

	Watch our videos so you know what to do. Get the insider tips to make the process very simple. This will only take about an hour of your time - total.
	Use the list we will give you to find a station in your local area. Call and make an appointment for an orientation.
	Go down to the station, fill out an application (it's free to do so) and pick out suitable airtimes for the show (there are things you need to know here - we'll show you).
	Contribute $9.95 a month. (for this, you will get two DVDs per month with two thirty-minute shows which you can deliver to your local station). If you find out they will allow us to mail in the DVD, we will mail it directly for you. Zero hassle.
	Feel good that you are doing something VERY PRACTICAL and POWERFULLY PROACTIVE.

MEASURABLE RESULTS

If we get just 200 stations to air these shows and each show gets seen by 10,000 people (most cable stations do numerous repeat airings so our stats say this is a good estimate), we will have reached 2 MILLION people - each week! The even better news is that these people may be an entirely new group than those who might be on the Internet. The problem with the liberty movement is that we keep reaching the same people over and over again. For this world to make a turn around, we need a greater percentage of the population educated to the cause of freedom.

STRATEGY #2: INTERVIEW YOUR LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE

We do have the ability to change our nations. As founding father Thomas Paine said, “We have the power to remake the world anew.” The following Citizen Journalism program is a way to do this EASILY, ECONOMICALLY AND EFFECTIVELY.

Electing our officials of choice on November 4^th cannot be the end of our civic duty. How often do we hear someone say of their politician, “I thought they must be well qualified for the position or surely, they wouldn’t have been appointed? They likely are much more knowledgeable on issues than I ever could be.”

Here’s the reality: many bills these days are extremely lengthy (and there are so many new laws being tabled), that officials sometimes depend on their staff or young interns to read a bill and give them some ideas on how to vote. Or some do it the democratic way – they let us wholly decide as did the politician below.

Recently we spoke with a man who visited an Ohio Senator in his Washington D.C. office a few decades back. As the bell rang calling him to session, the man asked the senator how he would be voting on the bill at hand. The senator turned to his mail pile. "There are two letters for with a wealthy businessman for the bill and one against. Looks like I will be voting for the bill.” Incredulous, the constituent asked again “Really? That’s your system? That’s how you know which way to vote?” “Yes,” confirmed the senator, “That is often how I decide. It’s that simple."

The issues at stake weren’t going to keep this man up at night. He could blame the public for “their decision.” This way, he’d have more time for other things like events with lobbyists, special interest groups, or that lunch with a wealthy businessman who might be a potentially large donor for his next campaign. So, don’t be intimidated. Get involved. As the aforementioned incident clearly illustrates, it does not take much effort to make a huge difference in a nation’s future. Here's how...

Over the years Ian and I have interviews (during out years in television and afterwards) have done countless numbers of politicians. It is EASY TO GET AN INTERVIEW. Again, we'll show you the tips to get in the door and the techniques. You don't have to have fancy equipment. Remember... they are ELECTED. This means they work for you. Don't be intimidated - especially when our entire nation's future in handing in the balance.

If ever there was a TIME FOR COURAGE TRAILBLAZERS - this is it.

If we work together, we liberty-minded people can keep each other informed. This is why we are proposing the following plan: as a team, let’s interview every major office holder across the U.S. We'll supply you with a STANDARD list of 5-7 interview questions that will change about every six months. This way, we can get a fairly good idea of how the various politicians around the country stand on these primary issues of freedom.

When you join today as a citizen journalist:

	We equip you with a “press pass” to wear to help you get into government buildings for an appointment.
	We will provide you with a standard letter to request an interview with your local representative.
	We provide you with a list of standard interview questions (these will be periodically updated.

Team up with 1 or two other people. Perhaps you don’t want to do the interview but are happy to hold a camera – or visa versa. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Simply work together with a couple friends to create a Local "Take Back" empowerment group where one of the suggested regular activities is to interview a politician. We even give you some training to get you going. We'll also give you a list of colleges where you can call up the communication or multi-media professor and ask for an intern to help you.

Here's what you do:

	Set up an interview with a local politician - tell the office you are an independent journalist.
	Email them the set questions we provide ahead of time if they ask for them.
	Wear the press pass, and professional-looking clothes (no T-Shirts with logos).
	Be courteous - a rude demeanor will revoke journalistic privileges.
	Film the 10-20 minute interview & Post it on You-Tube.
	Send us the link and if it complies (because you asked the questions in a professional manner), we'll post them under your state listing.

You can choose to appear on camera or be heard behind the scenes asking the set questions, or you can text them on-screen so people see what question is being answered without having to hear or see you at all -- your choice. We'll place the links to interviews on one centralized website so everyone can benefit from your efforts towards the cause of liberty. Simple and easy.

MEASURABLE RESULTS

If we get 200 Citizen Journalists who each interview 1 local politician in their state each month. In one year, that would enable us to get interviews on 2,400 politicians and learn what they REALLY think on the core liberty issues. The questions we give our reporters are generally never get asked by the mainstream media. Imagine what this strategy would do to enhance accountability if they realized the public could EASILY get the 411 on their policies - all in one place. IMAGINE!

AWARDS: We will periodically highlight the interview of Citizen Journalists with special awards and commendations. You’ll learn how respectable people are steering our country towards constructive goals while remaining non-confrontational and professional as journalists. You don't have to be rude to get answers. The key factor is the questions carefully chosen to solicit accountability - these are the questions that should be asked of every politician but are typically pushed aside for "fluff" questions. Given that most major media in our country is run by 5 or 6 large news companies, citizen journalism is the key to truly getting out the word about rogue politicians and government abuse of power. More importantly, it is the best way to highlight those legislators who do uphold the constitution of our Republic.

Fatalism cannot help us. Concerted action will transform us.

It’s easier that you can imagine and the politicians will generally open their doors for you once armed with the press pass lanyard around your neck. Most politicians rarely get asked for interviews by the media unless there is some controversy or sensational negative news story to cover. This is their chance to explain what positive movements are being made to preserve our liberty. Another added bonus to having a face-to-face with your representative is that next time you call about an issue, they will remember you. This increases your own influence when crucial issues arise.
