Meet Your Needs and the Needs of Others: The dynamics of becoming a ValYOU leader involves your own personal development as well as the satisfaction of seeing many others come to their fullest potential. It is that team spirit and mutual appreciation that you will find are the under girding foundations of our organization.

The Group Leader has a valuable role to fulfill. You are a vital link between your local team and our head office. Let us create a warm, welcoming environment for our members. Rather than remaining insular and segregated, ValYOU is committed to meeting the needs of people of all races, cultures, socioeconomic groups and faiths. Please respect these by avoiding situations and terminology which may be foreign or offensive. We do not ask that you compromise your own convictions and preferences, but that you refrain from prejudices and sharing personally on issues that may alienate. If we all focus on the bigger, more inclusive picture of personal liberties, our scope of community influence and assistance will be greatly increased. In so doing, we believe that as you undertake this role of group facilitator, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest imagination.

Trust is Paramount. We want to direct emotions and energy towards fighting outside facets of control in society, rather than directing this towards the demeaning or over-analyzing of individuals within our organization. Therefore, in keeping with our creed of trust, we ask that you inform all members of the importance of remaining understanding towards each other regardless of eccentricities or differences.

We must keep our focus on major goals, rather than on minor dissimilarities.

Negativity towards other members should not be allowed during meetings or outside of meetings. Nitpicking and criticism serves no one. It should be understood that a person should leave, rather than destroy relationships. Once trust is undermined, a group can easily become shattered and its effectiveness minimized, if not completely neutralized. The reality is that it is easier to get more accomplished with a smaller positive and proactive group of enthusiastic friends than a huge group where many team members are negative and pessimistic. Tactfully weeding out people who are problematic and liabilities to the rest of the team may be take some courage, but there's no doubt this will provide valuable real-world leadership experience.

Size of Group: That's up to you. You are grow your group into a big network or it can be as small as two or three (or more).

Meeting Times & Frequency: That's up to you too. But we believe to keep momentum, it is imperative that you at least meet once a month. Whatever you decide, bear in mind that continuity is helpful. Even if your group is very small, the formality of setting a time to meet together helps to heighten accountability to your project and provides a venue for your team to announce accomplishments. You can then give them the appropriate accolades in front of other team members as this approach always carried greater weight. It's a good idea to set a regular time that will be easy to remember such as “the third Tuesday evening of each month at 7p.m.” Bear in mind that some busy executives prefer early morning meetings (i.e. 7 - 8:30 am) so they can have their evenings with the families.

Punctuality: Please ensure that the main structured part of the event does not last longer than two hours - if over a lunch hour - then for no more than 45 minutes. Failure to honor previously agreed-to time frames is a common reason sited by people leaving a group. Pace yourself time-wise. Let people know ahead of time how much time you are allocating to each main segment of the evening. You might even create a 1 page agenda using the following 7-segments as a guide.

THERE ARE SEVEN PARTS TO A LOCAL VALYOU MEETING:

Divide up your allocated time to cater to each of these aspects. There is a lot of flexibility depending on your unique focus, but we suggest the following as a guide (5-15 minutes are spent on each segment making for a very productive meeting format):

1. Personally Connect (Meet and Greet) [5 - 10min] At the commencement of the meeting, personally greet each member as they arrive. Allow the members to mix and mingle for a short time before calling the group to order. The group meeting can be informal. It is preferable to cover important announcements early as there may be those who are working on a tight schedule. Members who have less time restrictions will be able to remain behind afterwards for further social interaction.

Refreshments either during or after the meeting is a great way to soften the atmosphere and break the ice. However, please have refreshments laid out ahead of time, so as to eliminate confusion and unnecessary delays. Some people may not have eaten before the meeting and may be hungry. An alternative to light refreshments is a pot luck dinner. Remember, members are not there to be impressed by your ability to be a perfect host/facilitator — they simply want to be made to feel welcome. If meeting in your home is an inconvenience, there are many other options (so everyone covers the cost of their own food) such as a coffee shop like a cafe, a restaurant, a business office or a church etc. Try to choose locations which are easy to find and are fairly central to the majority of the members.

Introduction, Word of Welcome and Other Announcements: Thank the members for coming and raise anticipation of what is to be expected during the remainder of the event. Sit, rather than stand if the group is small. While working within these guidelines, you are encouraged to add your own personal creativity. Spend a few minutes with guests and new competition participants explaining how the group operates and inviting them to visit us on the web to learn more. One factor alone will bring the attendees back the next month: friendliness.

2. Power Presentation (ValYOU Vantage Vlog & Discussion) [10-15 min] You want people to go away from your meeting feeing as though they learned something of value. The group starts by watching a ValYOU Vantage Vlog of their choice together. If you subscribe (no cost), you'll get one from which to choose. These are uploaded to YouTube to make it convenient for you to access them. Simply play one that is of interest to you and your group. In the context of media puppet pundits who are constantly demoralizing the public and conditioning them towards despair, those who believe proactively in a free country and a commercial progressive environment need REGULAR uplifting commentary and motivational encouragement towards shaping the type of world in which they want to live. Plug into ValYOU for this vital kind of positive perspective and practical input to not only survive the external assault upon our liberties, but to successfully thrive! Insulate yourself against negative mental programming.

We also encourage each person to individually subscribe to the Vlogs and use these presentations as a spring board to discuss your own ideas that will impact your community. You can also opt to start your group with a brief presentation or live talk by the leader or pertinent guest.

Encourage Participation, Don’t Pressure: Never force a member to join in activities or put a shy, withdrawn person “on the spot.” Give them time to feel comfortable with the rest of the group. As they see others bare their hearts and still be accepted, their confidence levels will rise. Forcing people beyond their comfort zone will only alienate you and the rest of the group. Maintaining an approachable personality will make it easier for barriers to break down. Respect and sensitivity are crucial if members are going to be comfortable enough to return. A mature individual does not railroad through the feelings of others to achieve personal gain. Imposing our persuasions on another or being dogmatic about our beliefs or business ventures is certainly not synonymous with human respect or kindness.

3. Plan a Community Project (Transformation) [10-15 min.] Unified action is movement that is in synchronicity with our words and desires. If we want liberty, it is not enough to dream about it and wish for it. We believe that leaders are people with the courage to take action. In fact, we believe so much in this, that we have set aside prize money for our members who make a noticeable difference in their community. The ValYOU Valor Awards reward those who using the courage and creativity to bring about an increased measure of liberty in their local area.

The person who really believes wholeheartedly
in what they are verbally and visually manifesting
will make tangible movement towards creating their desires.

At this point in the meeting, open up the group to a period of brainstorming and deliberation on ways to strategize bring about a measure of liberty to your community. Lead the charge for change. Have your project featured in a book - get noticed. We enthusiastically celebrate those programs designed to awaken people to their inherent personal and national freedoms. Your project can be as simple as handing out fliers and DVDs to raise awareness of crucial non-partisan issues. It may be something like the liberty Tea Parties and COAST that organized as a rally against irresponsible government spending which attracted thousands of demonstrators as a result of only a handful of core organizers. Your project may be a campaign to reform a constricting law, become precinct leaders, organize a rally, gather a petition, make a short documentary, target a health goal, teach a self-defense course, write a blog, volunteer for a self-sufficiency program. Get an idea and run with it. Have fun! Surprise yourselves!

Approach your brainstorming session with enthusiasm. By all means, do tell them your goal to enter the ValYOU Valor Award and ask if they would help you set high goals for the six-month season. To help you decide which approach to take, revisit what type of group you started - why did get together? Were you a business group? A political group? A health group? This earlier distinction can help you stay within a general umbrella. For instance, if you are a group of entrepreneurs, you might each pick a new start-up business project.

The ValYOU Citizen Journalism Press Corp is a project worth considering. It only takes several people become a media unit to interview local elective officials on 5-7 key questions we'll provide. Decide whom you want to interview and assign who will set this up. Perhaps you don’t want to do the interview but are happy to hold a camera – or visa versa. If every group did just one interview per month, we would change our nation(s). Send us your YouTube link and we'll place the links to interviews on one centralized website (categorized) so everyone can benefit from your efforts towards the cause of liberty. Simple and easy, but POWERFULLY EFFECTIVE. (for more information click here)

Change does not have to be complicated. Simply choose one area that you want to bring reform and work on that. We are all working together towards positive collective changes, so stay focused on one area each competition cycle. The danger is in spreading yourself too thin. Enjoy the process and have fun!

4. Prayer for Prosperity (Manifestation) [2-5 min] This portion of the meeting is optional. But before you discount it's relevance to a professional group, imagine if thousands of people around the world were joining together each week/month to manifest peace and prosperity. Learn about the scientific prayer experiment that turned back airplanes in a time of war. You'll discover how Brenda saw first hand how a country overseas on the verge of Marshal Law was brought back from the brink of disaster because of groups like these. Even if you don't ascribe to any faith, you can simply visualize or meditate on four key attributes of prosperity for yourself and the people of our planet. Be part of what can happen with just 2 minutes of collective resonation. We have provided slides for you on four key areas: * Peace * Liberty * Wealth * Health

Already ValYOU members in over a dozen countries have joined together to change our world for the better, making it a place in which we all want to live. Get a free PowerPoint Slide with each of the slides below by entering your information at the Prayer for Prosperity page. This program is set with a timer so you can spend 30 seconds on each slide in prayer and mediation = just 2 minutes total.

Depending on whether or not your group feels comfortable doing so, you may also opt to take a few minutes longer to verbally pray extemporaneously for local concerns. Some leaders prefer the group to simply sit quietly and meditate, others like to offer short declarative verbal prayers as they watch the slides. Work within the comfort level of your group members. Don't allow this to be a cause of division.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen. The word, "manifest" means evidence. No matter what your religious or denominational persuasion, constructive change can be evidenced and amplified in our world when two or more people join together in unified, resonant harmony. We can multiply the speed at which those changes can manifest with thousands of groups meeting each month for the same purpose of bringing increasing measures of liberty to people all over the world.

Encourage each member to sign up for the free-to-join "Prayer for Prosperity" slides so they can visualize every day as part of their daily declarations/prayer. You might want to play the short webinar that explains the power of this activity so they understand how the Law of Reciprocity boomerangs to benefit them. This educational clip is very important because it explains why feeling is one of the most effective forces to accelerate manifestation. Most people are meditating or praying incorrectly. This webinar will greatly increase the effectiveness of your Prayer for Prosperity session together.

When our thoughts, feelings and words
are combined with intentional decisions
we become a force for reformation as powerful as any army.

True peace can only come when the individuals in countries enjoy personal emancipation, financial independence and when their sovereignty is respected by the countries in which they live. Therefore, in addition to manifesting communal freedom, we encourage group members to express their personal dreams and desires so these can be supported by the power of unified attraction and agreement.

It is always a good idea to tell people how long you will allocate for this season of group prayer and meditation before you start. The next important tip is to provide some guidelines as a leader. You have enormous freedom in the way you run your group, but the following guidelines are essential to ensure the most effective outcome and increase the chances of attracting your desires (you can periodically read these to the group):

	Value time. It is unproductive to get into too much discussion before engaging in the actual "Prayer for Prosperity" 2-minute session. Much pre-prayer discussion tends to center around words like, "I wish" and "It would be nice if..." whereas words that are declared in affirmative, decisive terms are more effective. The Universe has been designed by its Creator to bring to us those things which we are certain we desire. The opposite of control is the freedom to CHOOSE and CREATE. We should communicate with that bold awareness in meditation and prayer.
	Be strategic. Dare to consider how our world, community and lives would look like if they were manifesting love at the highest order. Then, shape that world with words and feeling prayers that are in accordance.
	If a desire is truly in sync with your heart's passions, they will manifest. Keep your motives pure, but at the same time, have the courage to share what you really want.
	Choose your words carefully. Clarity is important. Decide - then attract and create.
	There is power in group unity and agreement. Some people seem to feel superior by promoting themselves as exclusive or acting overly opinionated. ValYOU emphasizes humility, love and servant leadership. Where there is unity, a blessing comes. When as few as two people walk in resonant harmony towards the common goal of peace and freedom, they have more power than laser weapons and can put an army of 10,000 to flight.
	When there are people in the group who may feel uncomfortable with a "Dear God, or Dear Jesus" preface, some groups prefer to simply begin their statements with a simple declaration such as, "I declare that..." or "I attract..." or "I intend..." or "I manifest." The laws of the universe have been predicated on "Asking, Seeking and Knocking." Think of this session as a way to table your desires for the added spiritual power that comes with agreement between the parties present.
	However you decide to pray is up to the group leader. You can bow your heads, close your eyes, hold hands, press the palms of your hands together or assume a number of alternate positions. If you would prefer options other than those provided by your group leader, and you can't come to an agreement, it is better if you leave and start you own group - just don't split the group over your decision. Leave quietly.
	It's important to trust because doubt will interfere with manifestation. Eliminate such words as "trying," "hoping," "wanting" and future tense verbs. It is helpful to think of your desires as coming into existence in another dimension or time consortium the moment you create them with your decisive words.
	We don't always know when or how our desires will manifest for us; we just know that they will manifest because we invested energy, attention and focus to attract them.
	Phrase your words in the positive, rather than the negative. Instead of, "We do not want a non-tyrannical government representative" say "We attract a representative who is a defender of the constitutional liberties."
	Negative thoughts lead to negative experiences. Because we shape our world by our words, how much better to use words like "Easy," "fun" "enjoyable" and "fast". Reality is subject to our expectations. So, raise your expectations.
	Many people feel overwhelmed and at the mercy of life, institutions, and circumstances and manipulators, but they don't do anything to change their circumstances. They continue to react as victims. ValYOU members refuse to be controlled. They CHOOSE to CREATE the world in which they want to live. Every member should be encouraged to order the Apprentice level Millionaire Matrix 1000 module that trains on the Secret Frequencies of Quantum Creation.
	Remember to pray in congruence with the liberty principle that our desires must serve the highest and best good for both ourselves and others. You can't control others by forcing them to do something against their will. This is completely against our philosophies of personal freedom. It is far better to set people free with your blessings and love.

- not just individuals, but families, communities and entire countries.

5. Publication Overview (Book/Movie/YouTube Report) [5-10 min] This segment is when one of the members brings a synopsis of a crucial publication on personal magnetism, liberty and empowerment. (see links for ideas.) ValYOU provides complimentary resources. From time to time, our members are offered major discounts. Knowledge is power. The person doing the report may alternatively opt to play a short, but informative YouTube presentation. We are currently compiling a list of short videos on cutting-edge liberty issues which will educate and enlighten. You will be able to go here for links to other information: videos & book suggestions.

6. Prestigious Insider Information (Quantum Academy) [5 min] This segment is when we celebrate achievements of members giving recognition within the context of the ValYOU groups, especially to those who have reached another rank of accomplishment in the Millionaire Matrix 1000 Program. These training modules can be earlier watched in the privacy of your home, but your accomplishments are worthy of mentioning publicly as they demonstrate credibility with business prospects because of your emphasis on continuing education. We've even provided a way for you to get your training paid for at no cost to you - just two referral at 50% and your own training is FREE. As a leader of a group, you are encouraged to tell the members about the Millionaire Matrix 1000 and get this referral commission, though it does not entitle you to it if someone else in the group has been the first to tell a new member about it. Keep a Journal of Your Activities and Interesting Developments: If want to enter to win the ValYOU Valor prize, a journal of important progress and developments will make your story more compelling. Andy significant events can be used to write your 1000 word story which might be chosen to become a chapter in a book about ValYOU Valor members. We love to hear how the ValYOU Freedom principles and groups are revolutionizing people's lives - in some cases entire communities, so send us your success stories and testimonies.

Representation: We ask that you not represent yourself as an official agent acting on behalf of ValYOU. Rather, you are an independent group leader. We also ask that you not represent yourself as a qualified counselor if you have not had any specific, structured training. However, please understand that you can support and mentor others who want a listening ear and encouraging word.

Strict Confidentiality: We ask that you maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Presume that members do not want their information shared outside the group, whether this is specifically stipulated or not. This need for confidentiality should be periodically conveyed to the group. Our group must be based on trust.

Raise Community Awareness: Many newspapers and radio stations allow not-for-profit local groups to announce community events free-of-charge. Your participation in the ValYOU Valor competition is a perfect way to get press coverage of your project. The competition gives you NEWSworthy press to announce to the community what you are doing because it comes with a six month timeline attached. We ask that you include our website in announcements as this helps increase traffic to our organization.

More On-line Exposure for Your Group - get more members: If you want to expand your reach of exposure, you might want to also create a profile on the social network site: www.Meetup.com - but remember to also create one on www.ValYOUnetwork.com because this enables us to send you tools to help you with your group and stay in touch. There are on-line postings such as www.Craigslist.org that you can take advantage off as well. Ask you members to spread the word too.

You can keep your core team small if you wish, but if you want to expand your sphere of influence in your community so they can help with your project, you might want to take advantage of the following easy and free ways to gain exposure for your cause:

	Put up posters on bulletin boards in grocery stores, doctor’s offices, businesses, churches and community halls.
	Send letters to business and community group leaders to raise awareness of the group.
	Send out press releases, TV appearances, radio interviews.
	Make presentations to church, business and community groups.
	Place listings in community and local directories and newsletters.
	Place program fliers or posters in conspicuous places (for instance, the store fronts of ValYOU group members and supporters).
	Place an announcement in program fliers or posters placed on community or church literature tables and bulletins.

Publication Sales Fund ValYOU’s activities: Please keep in mind that sales help to support the organization and supplement the cost of sending out training programs to developing countries. Please encourage team members to periodically check out our website for new releases. Your inspiring review of available resources will prove helpful. It will also enable members to quickly select which resources will best meet their particular needs.

Records and Confidentiality: Always keep a copy of all your member names and contact information as this will be most valuable if you ever need to call members regarding a change in meeting times. When a member requests confidentiality of this information, please do so. Towards the end of your ValYOU Valor competition six-month cycle, please send us a copy of your group members so we have a record at our office. Tell them you are doing this. At all times this data remains the property of ValYOU and may not be disclosed to third parties for financial capitalization.

It is free to sign up to get our newsletter (with various gifts), so each month, remind those who have not yet done so to log on and get their newsletter delivered directly to their in-box.
