So how do we combat such infringements? In addition to staying connected to the ValYOU Freedom Alliance network, it is paramount that members marshal a strong LOCAL network of friends who will come to their aid.

Creating a Millennium Colony is one of most important steps you can take secure your freedom. We will show you how this plan will put you back in the driver’s seat of your destiny. It will again give you HOPE for a brighter future.

When you first fill out the form on the homepage, you will be immediately sent a copy of the "Millennium Manifesto." It's important you read this first because it provides a vital overview.

Following about a week later will be the book "Colonists of the New Millennium." This short book outlines how you can be the trailblazer even in worst case scenarios of economic collapse, but also how you can build now for a positive LEGACY that will last. The ultimate goal is to TAKE BACK our nations.

This book outlines a master LOCAL strategy that can quickly turn entire countries around -- putting its people back where they should be: in control of their finances, their schools, their health, their legislation, their LIVES AND LIVELIHOODS.

We believe that it is possible to make enormous changes to restore our planet to its rightful place of abundance and prosperity - if we will work together.

Why it is Urgent that You Start a Millennium Colony

Your protection and peace of mind is at stake. Notice the contrast in the two stories below. One had a support team in place prior to the attack on their liberties, the other did not. The outcomes are very different.

STORY #1: Two U.S. doctors were working to heal Sickle Cell Anemia which most of the medical profession say has no cure. Evidently, someone saw these guys as a threat to their pharmaceutical business, so they decided to attack – literally. The obedient authorities went after the physician in the poorer neighborhood whom they figured would have no money to fight back. A swat team arrived on his doorstep and surrounded his house. Before they could knock down the door, the doctor rushed to his computer and quickly got out word to supporters, “Please come. I am being accosted.” They came. Within minutes, scores of people had descended. Some traveled from two hours away, just to support their friend. Likely, some carried concealed carry weapons. Because there were so many witnesses, the pharmaceutical drug representatives and agencies were too afraid of ramifications, so they eventually backed down – and to our knowledge, never bothered the doctor again. No doubt, this physician later drew immense comfort from knowing that in his greatest hour of need, there indeed were freedom-loving Americans who stepped up and said, “We’re here for you. We’ve got your back.”

STORY #2: By contrast is an incident that happened to Major Mike McCormack one of the first responders to September 11^th, 2001. When he spoke out on the radio, explaining how he was dying from toxic dust inhalation and discussing some anomalies to the media’s rendition of what happened that day, he was targeted for harassment. He became "the enemy" in the eyes of the state. He was one of the key people to uncover the documents that exposed the lies about supposedly "safe" air quality in NYC after 9/11.

On September 11th, 2006, Major McCormack was honored at the televised anniversary celebration in New York, provided many hand shaking photo-ops for numerous politicians before returning to his family home in Pennsylvania that night. The next morning, he was descended upon by a 15-member SWAT team who were determined to find something incriminating to shut him up once and for all. So, with MP5 machine guns and 9 mm handguns pointed at his head, they verbally abused him and ransacked his house for three hours. Finally, they found something. McCormack had left a legally owned unloaded gun in the trunk of his car while traveling to New York. He thought a 48 hour out-of-state law applied. Nevertheless, McCormack was charged with illegal possession of a weapon. At that moment, McCormack needed fellow patriot protection such as that offered by the ValYOU Freedom Millennium Colonists, but he didn’t have access to that.

The most appalling part of this story is that McCormack’s neighbors who had seen the raid from their yards didn’t even bother to ask him what was going REALLY on. They shunned him and treated him like a dangerous criminal. He was guilty before being proved innocent. As sick as McCormack was because he had helped victims on September 11th, 2001, he was forced to fight this battle ALONE. Here he was without a friend to care for him in his hour of need.

Even as law abiding citizens, we never know when our liberties will come under attack. It is vital that we surround ourselves with people who will come to our defense should we eve need such support.

THE POWER OF TEN vs. THE POWER OF ONE

Much ado has been made about "the power of one", but when you are up against more than just "one", you become very much aware of the fact that there is strength in numbers.

The early colonists of the United States understood this. When they established a new territory, they knew that the best way to provide for their families was to give them the protection and provision found in living close to other settlers. By forming friendship alliances with neighbors, they could better withstand health and environmental hardships, lessen the chances of outside attack and flourish financially much faster.

Did you know that the United States was originally built on a system called "Ten-ships" where ten families agreed to support each other and take unique roles in establishing a self-sufficient community? Also, this collaboration provided a common defense. Later these became known as "Townships."

One family provided food from their farm - today this might mean a bulk-buying co-op. Another offered health services - today this might mean a member who is a health care practitioner (doctor, nurse) etc.

We are colonists of a New Millennium: one that is based on the spiritual paradigm of peace, prosperity and patriotism. We have chosen not to be conditioned by the problems that we see, but rather by the vision of what we want our world to become.

Colonists are encouraged to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with each other should the liberties or livelihoods of any member be in jeopardy.

The steps to start a Millennium Group is simple:

Join the ValYOU Freedom Alliance yourself - fill in the homepage form
Tell some acquaintances that you are starting an affiliation of local people with the objective of supporting each other's liberties and livelihoods. Aim for a cross-spectrum of professions.
Ask each one to visit ValYOU.org and become a member; then read both the "Millennium Manifesto" and the "Colonists of the New Millennium" as these books enter their email boxes. They can visit this page of the website as well as the "About Us" overview page.
Encourage each member to assist the others within the Colony using the area of their expertise so all can flourish in liberties and livelihoods.
Meet together at least once a quarter to strengthen the bonds of friendship and offer advice/assistance. Each event should also provide some helpful information on at least one of the Ten Tenants to enrich members with empowerment education. You can show a video on a given topic or have a member of guest speaker. Always finish with an exchange of business cards and mix n' mingle.

Rather than committing a potential new member to regular attendance, ask them to first come as a guest speaker on a topic that will benefit the members to see if they are a good match in terms of liberty emphasis. Aim for a high caliber of person. If you don't target people who have something valuable to offer the others, then your team will be weakened. Your goal is to help all members prosper as a result of each contributor.

CROSS-SPECTRUM OF SOCIOECONOMIC SUPPORT

When founder Dr. Wehrman spoke with the former Communist party head assigned to Australia, she learned that in addition to recruiting from college campuses, they would specifically target a cross-spectrum of professionals in a region: a doctor, lawyer, educator, politician, financial-expert, clergy, businessman etc. These were recruited to join the party so that the community could be influenced in every spectrum of society. Furthermore, they wanted people who could come their aid in various areas, if ever this was needed. They set their sights on people who were already leaders in their fields, and convinced them to work for the cause of socialist collectivism.

Our cause is FREEDOM for the individual. And because our mission is noble, we must be even more forthright in gaining the support of influential and/or highly knowledgeable people within a community. You are not looking for people who agree with you on every aspect. "Unity" does not mean sameness. Remember, we are an ALLIANCE. We have chosen to set aside whatever dissimilarities and differences might exist for our common and urgent cause: LIBERTY.

The "Millennium Manifesto" outlines "Ten Tenants of Socioeconomic Transformation." The ways that these can be implemented into a LOCAL colony are explained further in "Colonists of the New Millennium" - yours free when you fill out the form on the homepage. These tenants correspond to various types of people whom you can integrate:

1. PROSPERITY: Debt Elimination, Sound Money and Free Market Enterprise

(Contributors: financial experts and successful business persons who can be mentors)

2. PERSONAL LIBERTY: Freedom of Media, Religion and Education

(Contributors: journalists, social-media experts who can become a member of the liberty-press corps)

3. PATRIOTISM: Preservation of National Sovereignty and Ethical Leadership

(Contributors: political experts, or someone who wants to liaison with local government leaders or run for office)

4. PHYSICAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH: Natural Cures, Moral Medicine and Sustainable Agriculture

(Contributors: doctors/nurses with an emphasis on natural remedies and/or organic agricultural experts)

5. PURE WATER & SANITATION: Conscientious Hydro Imprinting

(Contributors: Those who can study clean-water purification options that are available)

6. POSITIVE PHYSICS: Elevated Oscillations of Spiritual Renewal

While some leaders may find it helpful to assign an advisory role to a qualified individual (financial advice, educational, legal, medical etc.), the transference of information is probably better done in a loosely organized fashion. This way nobody feels pressured to contribute and there is no class of egos. Everyone simply helps in whatever way they can.

Knowledge is Key. Over time, the goal is to balance in your Millennium colony community by providing input for all Ten Tenants. A contributor does not have to be a person who runs an actual brick and mortar business in their area of expertise. They may simply be people who have spent considerable time becoming skilled and acquiring knowledge in a given field. Be open minded and remember, that the most important qualification is that they have a true love of liberty.

As helpful as it is to have influential people in your group,
this does not mean you should target anyone
merely on the basis of their power, position or wealth.
What you need to do, is assemble a group of people based
firstly on their knowledge of what it means to live free.

For instance, a teacher may seemingly be a great choice for Tenant #9 (Pharisaical Education), but if that person has an unquestioning view of history based on standard school text books, rather than researching to learn what really happened, then members of the group have learned nothing new.

Similarly, a nurse who is liberty-minded and open to carefully research natural remedies, will be a better asset to the colony, than a doctor who insists on using pharmaceutical drugs as a first line of defense.

Dam-Busting Strategy

Even with little resources and few numbers, a community can be changed if strategic steps are taken. When a fighter airplane seeks take out an enemy's stronghold, the pilot don't have to blanket the area with bombs, he/she only needs to attack key areas. For instance, to break apart a dam, not every brick needs to be bombed; with a few carefully spaced bombs, the entire dam will collapse.

This is why we need to all work together to promote at least one person in each segment of commerce within a local community: i.e. education, business, legal, political, the media and of course, health.

Furthermore, it is important to be holistically practical in the way each Millennium Colony member is supported. We can preach esoteric liberty philosophies, but if the group is sickly in body, then they will be ineffective and go bankrupt.

Getting healthy is also fundamental to reclaiming liberty and livelihoods. We need the energy to be productive and debt-free. At least one member of the "ten-ship" local Millennium Colony needs to keep abreast of alternative and preventative health products to inform the rest of the group. Periodically, we help members get access to economical, break-through options. Some of these are listed on our website.

Willing Contribution - not Collectivism

Collectivism aims to force people to share their wealth. By contrast, we believe that people must remain FREE to choose to what they degree they contribute time and resources. As opposed to the communist, socialist and/or fascist philosophy of forced collectivism, we know from history that a society as a whole will suffer if the individual isn't free to make their own decisions about their wealth-distribution.

No pressure or manipulation must be brought to bear on any members to contribute to the needs of others. This must be done by each as they are inspired to share.

Those with lesser resources must not resent those with more, neither should they seek to guilt-induce affluent members to give their belongings to someone else. The moment this is done, there is a violation of someone else's rights. Unfortunately, some people have grown used to this because of a culture that promotes the collectivist mentality and governments' propensity to heavily tax or penalize those who have worked hard to amass assets.

Besides, if members resent another colonist with wealth, they will likely never attract it themselves. Whatever we loath, we will eventually repel. Prosperity exists in a society where wealth is celebrated - not condemned or so heavily taxed or tithed that there is no incentive to get rich and stay rich.

Only true Free-Market economic enterprise will turn countries around.

Collectivism has stifled many a community for far too long. “Collectivism” says that “You can’t progress until I do—and if you do, you will be penalized in taxes and/or confiscation. This nets only fear and futility. There are no incentives. Far too many socio-economic programs have tried to change environments without addressing these hindrances. You can’t ignore the elephant in the room.

Unless one’s focus and perception is changed, no amount of liberal arts education, vocational skills or financial assistance will overcome the failure mentality some people hold to be true in their minds. There is nothing gained by blaming the government or other people. Rather, we must teach people that they have innovative and creative solutions within themselves.

This spirit of self-sufficiency must be at the heart
of all assistance or the cycles of dependency continue

Having lived in developing nations for a substantial percentage of her life, founder Dr. Wehrman knows first hand the impact of collectivism and other issues such as the tribal mentality. When one person gets ahead, all the rest feel entitled to a share, even if they have done nothing to contribute. Either the ambitious person moves far away, out of their locality, or they will get sucked dry. Again, where is the incentive to improve one’s lifestyle?

Our Goal: Wealthy Colonists - not Welfare Colonists

The colonies of the Millennium Republic of Nations are designed to have people helping people in order to become financially self-sufficient - not permanently dependent on welfare. Therefore any actions taken to help each other financially must be expended with that goal in mind. Micro-loans and investments in start-up ventures are always encouraged when a solid business plan exists. We suggest that the arrangement allows the owner-borrower to be free-hold within a seven year period so that the investor does not permanently remain a co-owner. This allows a family business to remain unencumbered by outsiders and passed on to leave a financial legacy for future generations.

As an organization, we can work with already-wealthy individuals to further build their portfolio, provided that a percentage of new wealth created comes back to assist in our projects in underprivileged regions of the world. When wealthy collaborators with an investment portfolio of at least one million or more, join our efforts, they can contact us as, we are able to connect them with international financial leaders in the banking industry who can vastly increase their wealth with the understanding that a small percentage of these newly created funds will assist us in developing vital “New Epoch” infrastructures such as holistic hospitals, sustainable organic agriculture systems, inexpensive pure water and sanitation initiatives, schools (that include core liberty education), innovative technology and revolving loans.

We do invite members to keep a generous attitude towards each other. No matter how much money we gather for ourselves, unless a portion is put back into making our local communities a better world in which to live — then our own quality of life will eventually be impacted. What will be the environment for our children to live in 20 years?. We must aggressively start that change NOW!

COOPERATIVE BUYING POWER

Members are encouraged to support one another in a number of ways including starting legal bartering groups and one or more co-ops to increase savings.

We have learned that global controllers are worried most about three things: 1). Voting for a liberty-minded candidate, 2) Getting out of debt, 3) Or if people stop buying from one of their multinational corporations - this includes the big pharmaceutical and agricultural cartels.

If Millennium Colonists will provide consultation and bulk buying power for each other, we can reduce the cost of living, crippling debt and be less dependent on cartel corporations. Most importantly, this means that people who care about liberties are spending their money amongst each other and building a strong financial platform with this solidarity.

One member may want to be in charge of gathering used clothes and household items so these can be re-circulated amongst other colonists. Alternatively a consignment arrangement can be created whereby the sale of more expensive items are split between the original owner and the proprietor who sells the items on their behalf to someone else in the community/colony.

Cooperation is a simple idea—two or more people join forces to accomplish something they probably couldn’t do alone. People working together in much a manner can net significant financial savings.

There can be food co-ops, babysitting co-ops, home/neighborhood school co-ops. By combining efforts and sharing responsibilities, a better lifestyle can be achieved. Some families have even put together their savings to crate a credit union. There is much information available on-line regarding co-ops and bartering systems should you want to research the various ways to save and make money using cooperatives.

In all cases, the person managing the operation must be given some remuneration for their time, or your group will be operating a welfare agency and eventually, someone will be disgruntled and drained.

Far better for you to support a potential new business that may arise for a liberty-minded colonist than to support an outside, multinational cartel that has fascist designs to remove your freedoms.

[Note: Fascism is a form of collectivism where corporation conspire to monopolize and take over the government. Communism is the reverse: where the government seeks to take over the corporations. In either case, you have the same oligarchic scenario. Fascists seek to organize a nation according to major-corporatist perspectives to the hurt of the individual; this is socialism with a false-capitalist veneer and its proponents do not want the mom and pop businesses to flourish.]

It becomes advantageous for unscrupulous politicians to cooperate with such fascist conglomerates. When they have to raise money for their campaigns, they don't have to appeal to thousands of people; they only need to make promises they plan to keep to a few top-level company owners. They can have lunch with these wealthy contributors and they are almost guaranteed a position of power. However, when a region has lots of wealthy individuals, verses just a few, the politician must pay more attention to the needs of the masses.

Thus, preserving our small businesses and the wealth of the average citizen is absolutely necessary to the preservation of liberty.

Loyalty in Business

Small to medium sized business owners across the world are the primary victims of a created economic holocaust. Whether you are the owner or employee of a privately owned business, you need to participate in a Colony.

Did you know that approximately 50% of the economy in the U.S.
is controlled by just 50 major companies?

If your group isn't too big, at the end of each meeting, we invite attendees to briefly share their passions and projects so they can profit from member-to-member referrals to customers/mentors in one's immediate neighborhood.

Here is what a leader might say to the group: "Each Colony meeting consists of attendees giving a 30 second verbal business card snapshot of your featured business (if you have more than one business project, you can alternate your talk between your various streams of income). You can ask specifically for referrals in this 1-minute presentation, but no pressure should ever be exerted upon individual members."

Afterwards, at the close of the meeting, more one-on-one in-depth networking and exchanges of business cards can take place.

If we are to become successful
and have the resources to take back our world,
we must pull together and support liberty-minded entrepreneurs.

Therefore we encourage members to give preference to fellow members where possible in commerce and community offices. Why not make friends and do business with people who share your common interest in preserving freedom?

Participate in this Millennium Republic of Nations colony network is better than paying dues to a local chamber of commerce that is committed to sacrifice each country's sovereign liberties to an international united nation. This type of support is also an nonsexist alternative to secret societies.

A time of social interaction is strongly suggested when you have a meeting as this will facilitate friendships, establish allies and build team spirit. Despite the tendency for people to be so individualistic today, there is an increasing desire for genuine camaraderie and communal support. As group grows you may need to decrease your networking time per person to a 30 second presentation, but once this period gets so watered down that it is ineffective, you might want to split into two smaller groups.

THE MAYOR REPRESENTATIVE

The founder of the Millennium Colony will coordinate meetings with the members and act the "Mayor" of this ten-ship or virtual town. In addition, when an issue arises that impacts the group, this founds act as their "Representative" to meet with his/her local government leaders to address concerns. Therefore, we refer to this coordinator as "Mayor Representative" - and or short, as simply, Mayor.

Political or civic officials are more likely to take action when there is a group seeking his/her attention, than when only one individual complains. If there is a major infringement on your rights, it is best if at least one person from each household accompanies the Mayor Representative to address the matter. There is power in numbers, and the next era of development for our world depends on solidarity. This cohesive approach will greatly increase a group’s influence in matters of state when crucial problems arise.

We respect that the Mayor Representative who founded the ten-ship colony is the creator-owner and therefore his/her invention should be preserved. If someone disagrees with the leader on an issue that becomes contentious, they are free to leave and start another group, but must not cause disharmony while they remain. Harmony and peace as well as respect for individual sovereignty is one of the hallmarks of a truly FREE society.

An example within our current society of what happens when this principle is violated is sometimes seen in the founding of churches. Often a pastor works hard to start a church. Then a board is elected who later decides they want another pastor to take over the work. The first pastor is ousted and his original vision handed over to another who did not sow in its establishment. The founding pastor therefore has created a scenario where his vision could not be protected. It would be better if the disagreeing church members, simply voted with their FEET. They can leave. This is always their prerogative.

Leadership operates best within an entity when each participant or attendee works person-to-person rather than seeing themselves as a mass under the leadership of yet another mass. No true representation can exist in this dynamic.

Your rights do not exist because of the "group",
they exist because you are a sovereign individual
dealing with other sovereign individuals.

People who understand this, have grasped the fundamentals of operating in FREEDOM.

In the case of a church, decisions get made quickly and efficiently when you are not dealing with a board, but rather directly with the minister. Furthermore, a weak minister cannot "pass the buck" when they must face a problem head-on.

When you are dealing with a politician this principle also applies. You are not dealing with a government. You are dealing with your government representative who is an individual. Don't forget this, or you will be intimidated by the fancy office in which they operate. Democracy means little if there is not a republic form of government at work. In a democracy where majority rules, the vote of lynch mob would rule. When you are the individual about to be lynched, your vote wouldn't count. However, in a republic, the individual must be represented.

Your leader is not "the group". Neither are you. Therefore, if an issue arises, respect his role as founder and speak directly to him. If the conflict cannot be resolved, move on and run another group in the manner that appeals to you.

However, the balance is to remember that there is strength in numbers and alliances. If you burn every relational bridge you build, then who will be there for you in your hour of need? This is why petty issues should be graciously put aside in light of the most important goals of preserving liberty within our nations.

Don't proselyte or seek to create dissension in the group you left. If you have chosen to start a new colony closer to your home address, then this may be a good reason for the formulation of a new group. In some cases, a split may come when a group gets too big and will be at the behest of the founder who may talk to another member about taking on a leadership role in the second group. Don't let egos get into the mix, or internal problems will keep you from helping each other prosper.

A Colony can consist of more or less than ten households

Many early settlements around the world started with 3-4 families who combined their talents for mutual benefit. Be careful however, of your colony getting so big that it looses it effectiveness. For example, it is impossible for your experts to properly mentor a very large number of people. Far better to have a close-knit group that can PROTECT and PROSPER each other.

The leaders of several small groups within a region can get to know each other so that they can contact each other for support (should a major infringement of freedom occur. For instance, a church of 500, may have many Millennium Colonies. And if one member's liberties comes under fire, the entire network of Millennium Colony leaders (or Mayor Representatives) can be contacted to get the word out to everyone in their small group.

Protection for THE COLONIST

"Protection" comes in various forms, an early relationship building exercise with officials, correctly formulating your group as a private membership and public rallies, as well as recourse through legal and media channels.

Seek to work harmoniously with officials

Your first line of defense is to build healthy, on-going relationships with your LOCAL government representatives. If every group put most of their effort into working locally first, we would reach our goals of changing government faster.

Make a regular point of steering officials towards liberty-based legislation and tell them why this helps the economy. Intellectually explain the benefits of free-market enterprise and self-defense. Do this without animosity or aggravation. Be polite and rational in your requests. Conduct yourself seemingly. Such gracious but persistent communication can generally accomplish positive results.

Note: Statistical studies show that approximately 50% of politicians can be swayed one way or another on most issues. Imagine the power you have to influence. The majority of elected officials can be moved towards freedom agendas with your input as many are simply not aware of what true "liberty" really means. They may have grown up in an educational system that didn't expose them to world history from a liberty standpoint. Some don't understand the horrific results of squelching free-market enterprise. Therefore, they will continue to pass increasingly more restrictive laws at the behest of a few unless we step in strategically. One strategy is to ask them to enroll in the Millennium Republic of Nation's program for government leaders (coming). Tell them that your group is voting on candidates based on their willingness to get certified in "Liberty Leadership." Give them relevant DVDs to watch and arrange a time to ask them their opinion afterwards (this accountability provides an incentive to make sure they take the time to watch the material).

Commend, more than Condemn.

When a law enforcement officer puts themselves in danger to protect your community, your group should be the first to commend them. If you are a person of means, set up a fund to pay for expenses incurred by a family of an officer shot at in the line of duty. If you have a large property, offer this land as a shooting range where law enforcement and your group can target-practice together. Ask an officer to come to your group and teach your group basic self-defense.

Be proactive and supportive when your government representative gets something right. Be the first to thank them for their such actions. They will remember YOU and your kind words because positive affirmation is not something they hear often. Support the campaigns of candidates to promise to support liberty. If you are one of a dozen or more people handing out pamphlets on their behalf, you can guarantee that these candidates will remember you when elected. (We don't tell members which candidates to vote for - do your own research thoroughly.

The best time to make an impression and to voice your requests is before someone takes office. One ideas is to hold a combined event with several other Millennium colonies and give each candidate a few minutes to answer the same set of questions. This is a great way to raise awareness of your group. Get people plugged into ValYOU.

Take action when your liberties are defrauded

Important as it is to build relationships with officials, you must be bold and take action when your freedoms are grievously defrauded.

Colonists of the Millennium Republic of Nations will regionally connect members who are committed to come to your aid (physically and financially) as a type of “Relational Insurance” if you ever need help to protect your liberty and livelihood.

Nothing shuts down heavy handedness of officials more dramatically than a group of people turning up to a courtroom or getting videos on YouTube because they were around to witness (and document) how you are being harassed.

If we are going to TAKE BACK OUR NATIONS,
we must start with an organization FOR the people, by the people.

When your business is at risk of being shut down by federal henchmen who are operating at the behest of an agency or cartel corporation who finds your activities a threat to their profit-margins, do you think the march on Washington DC or a rally down the street you attended last year is going to make any tangible difference to your immediate situation? Not likely.

We do not endorse antagonistic or rebellious attitudes towards government authorities. However, we must stand against tyrannical violations of individual liberties. If we sense anyone is getting egotistical satisfaction from conflict, we must not support their actions solely on the basis that their rights have been violated.

We must build bridges of freedom wherever possible between patriots and government officials. However, neither should we live in fear of tyranny or placate such behavior. The best offense is the defense of solidarity and preparedness from having a network of colonists in place.

Many people are loosing their businesses simply because
they can’t afford the new regulative requirements.

One bank manager told us that with an average staff of 8 people, companies are now having to hire one additional person to take care of the extra paperwork imposed by new legislation. Did you know that in a recent Small Business Association survey, it was reported that filing bureaucratic paperwork is the number one expenditure of time and money – whereas it used to be marketing that topped the survey? Yes, we need to reclaim our liberties – and our livelihoods. The two MUST go hand in hand.

Citizens are increasingly concerned about unjust
legislation, regulation, seizure, indictment, imprisonment,
privacy violation, harassment, fines, forced compliance or media defamation.

And for good reason. A lawyer recently told us that there are so many laws passed of late, that every citizen is likely guilty of committing a crime that they don’t know about, but nevertheless could spend time in jail if a corrupt authority so chose.

You never know when you personally will need a network of people to support you. For example, consider the case of David Olofson, whose rifle malfunctioned and misfired two shots in succession by accident, harming no one. Yet, this Constitutionally-innocent man was charged with "illegal possession of a machine gun" and thrown in jail where he has sat for 18 months. His wife is now forced to live on donations to survive.

Gone are the days when people can keep their heads down
and go about their business with the notion that as long
as they are law abiding, they are safe from prosecution.

A court document was delivered to our home by registered mail a few weeks ago. It is the copy of a court case against a health food company from whom we sometimes order supplements. Why was this company being sued? Well for one thing they were selling high-quality natural coconut products which they were immediately forced to remove from their product line - to stop selling. This means to stop getting an income. A few days later authorities demanded that all distributors take down their web links. It was as if the company's husband and wife owners were criminal drug dealers. They were considered guilty before being proved innocent. The couple has been fined and told they must pay the extremely expensive filing fees to register their product as though it were a DRUG, which it is not.

What if the next time, the defendant wasn’t
a health food company who received this, but you?

Twenty years ago, you could simply hang up a shingle and go to work. Now there are so many licenses and reporting mechanisms that hardly anyone can afford the red tape. This is how the large corporations take the lion's share of the market.

In 1999 whistleblower John Hammell, President of International Advocates for Health Freedom, received death threats for pushing for oversight on Codex Alimentarius and If you are found in possession of something not on their list of approved natural supplements (and very few are), you go to jail.

Just voting for the right candidate will not necessarily protect you. That's where the network of Colonists comes in.

With recent news reports, there has been justifiable concern about the reported mass rollout of the swine flu vaccine, which according the Arkansas State Health Department can be enforced by gunpoint by the government if necessary.

According to a recent report, if you are a Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr supporter, a Christian or any of the following, then you could be considered a potential terrorist.

	Oppose restrictions on firearms
	Oppose lax immigration laws
	Oppose the expansion policies of social programs
	Oppose continuation of free trade agreements
	Are suspect of foreign regimes
	Fear Communist regimes
	Oppose a "one world" government
	Bemoan the decline of U.S. stature in the world
	Are upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India, and more

With over 20,000 gun laws on the books, what do you think are the chances that you could be accused of a firearms violation? And if you are accused, what do you think it will cost to defend yourself in court? Would you have people come to your aid?

Thankfully, in the case of the doctor who worked with sickle Cell Anemia patients, he had friends whose presence saved a good doctor with an alternative remedy from being shut down. To that end, we are establishing a system that can be activated so members within a given geographical distance are called the moment they are needed to descend on a front lawn or at a courthouse when one of our members is accosted. Members bring along their cameras, record what is happening and put it on YouTube, further disseminating these via social media and other viral internet channels. Even people who have ample financial resources to pay for their legal defense, need numbers of people to show up for them when they are dragged off to court.

Remember, your protection is amplified by getting as many people as possible to join from your LOCAL region in as short a period of time as possible. How many people would you rather have stand beside you in a forced vaccination situation - 50 or just two? Isn't 50 people turning up at your court case, better than just two?

Private Membership

The way your group is structured will add to your protection too. Private membership is beneficial. It just happens that the Supreme Court here in the United States has ruled favorably for private associations more than 30 times in the last 50 years. The agencies are technically not allowed to interfere in a private membership. It is important to know how to correctly set up your organization

ValYOU Freedom itself was designed as a private membership association or HUB to bring together people, nations and organizations that want to see our world reflect its true potential. Your colony is also sovereign and independent; in and in a treaty alliance with us because of our shared emphasis on liberty.

Please note that because each group is INDEPENDENT, you cannot represent yourself on our behalf nor present yourself as a spokesperson of ValYOU. We work in alliance with each other for mutual strength and benefit.

You would be better off not to register or incorporate your group as a state entity, but rather to create a record of your private membership. There is a difference between a simple recording and a registration. In a registration, you come into contract with the state and therefore under its jurisdiction. Some group call themselves a "church" because this creates a sovereign entity under God - rather than under the State.

Incidentally, when clergy choose to get into bed with the government and incorporate within the state, this puts them under the jurisdiction of the state, rather than under God only. Once this is done, ownership is transferred (albeit unwittingly) to the government and any laws that they might dream up for you to follow in the future, will apply whether or not they agree with your faith. Tyranny exists when laws can be arbitrary mandated upon another's inalienable rights.

Freedom or independent autonomy is at the core of the preservation of a society's prosperity. Employers are better off hiring independent workers or "contractors." Unfortunately, politicians who do not want a truly FREE society, have put in place laws to prohibit such an "independent" arrangement. Generally, when an employee is working only for one employer, they are not permitted by the state to bill themselves as an independent contractor. We must seek to reform this type of legislation that puts the demands of a government over the benefit of the individual. There are many advantages when someone can be self-employed (for both the worker and hirer).

FORMAT AND FLEXIBILITY OF MEETINGS

There is definitely room for flexibility in how you chose to run your colony, but in order to be effective, your goal at meetings must include the following:

1. A means of contacting each other - i.e. a phone and/or email chain.

2. Monthly or quarterly recreational connection - i.e. a potluck dinner, a telephone conference or other meet-up event.

During your meetings together, set aside some time to discuss creative ways to promote each other in business (by passing on referrals) as well as protecting each other.

Start by asking people you know who care about liberty if they will join ValYOU Freedom (there is no membership fee). They can then read about the Colony network concept on this page and keep abreast of issues. You want friends whom you can count on to understand liberty current affairs and how to preserve their rights - and yours, should they come under attack. Next, ask them if they will be part of YOUR local ten-ship colony network. Each family simply contributes what they can to the group without pressure. However, they do agree to be there for each other in the case of emergencies should any person's liberties come under attack.

The steps to start a Millennium Group is simple:

Join the ValYOU Freedom Alliance yourself - fill in the homepage form
Tell some acquaintances that you are starting an affiliation of local people with the objective of supporting each other's liberties and livelihoods. Aim for a cross-spectrum of professions.
Ask each one to visit ValYOU.org and become a member; then read both the "Millennium Manifesto" and the "Colonists of the New Millennium" as these books enter their email boxes. They can visit this page of the website as well as the "About Us" overview page.
Encourage each member to assist the others within the Colony using the area of their expertise so all can flourish in liberties and livelihoods.
Meet together at least once a quarter to strengthen the bonds of friendship and offer advice/assistance. Each event should also provide some helpful information on at least one of the Ten Tenants to enrich members with empowerment education. You can show a video on a given topic or have a member of guest speaker. Always finish with an exchange of business cards and mix n' mingle.

1. Tell as many people as possible to join the ValYOU Freedom Alliance. This means locally as well as nationally. There are some causes which will require participation from all our members, so tell your friends and family about ValYOU no matter where in the nation/world they live. The more members we have, the better service we can provide. Also, if you are ever in need, you want as many people in your local region as possible who will be in traveling distance to drive to your aid. Therefore start a ten-ship Colony in your area.

2. When you can, participate in APB Calls-to-Action in your region. From time to time, ValYOU will send you background information on a situation that needs your physical presence or a request to write a letter etc. You will know what is going on and why it needs your assistance. We encourage each member to make an effort to be at important events. We don't expect members to necessarily turn up every time to an APB, but remember, if you want people to come to your aid, then you need to be present and supportive for others. Once at the location, other members will meet you, get to know you and you will have more allies when you need them. Consider your presence an investment in your own future. Remember, you don't have to fully understand or agree with another's plight, but stay connected based on CORE liberty issues. "United we stand; divided we fall." Solidarity is KEY to taking back our nation.

3. Pray for the Prosperity of our World. Whatever your faith, we encourage you to spend 2 minutes a day focusing alongside other members who will be doing the same in their homes. Wonderful as it is to spend your time gathering support and sponsorships for other causes, you need to think about your own personal future and the protection of your family and livelihood. Don't be left ALONE in your greatest hour of need. Therefore, tell as many people as possible around the Network of Guardians so we become a strong organization and can increase services to members.

Q: How can I do business with members who share my liberty emphasis who live beyond my local neighborhood?

A: While ValYOU itself keeps personal contact information confidential, we encourage the members themselves to post their projects and business endeavors on our ValYOU virtual community, the Millennium Business Network. This is under development. You will be able to put up an on-line profile and upload videos of your business. As you complete leadership modules and other on-line empowerment training, these will appear beside your profile. Associates who want to engage in commerce with you will have the peace of mind that comes from knowing of your commitment to ongoing business education and liberty-emphasis.

Q: What's your stance on religion and race?

A: As an international organization, we are united regardless of gender, religion or race. Our members are reminded that incited racism has been used to create riots and unrest to artificially produce a so-called "need" for heavy-handed government interference such as Marshal Law. Smart legal and media recourse is better than violence.

Q: I'm already part of another liberty group.

A: Great! Each organization has a function to play. You can continue to support the other organization, but remember to also support yourself. The ValYOU Alliance is unique in that it is first and foremost about YOU rather than just a cause.

You owe it to yourself to protect your family and means of income i.e. your livelihood first, and then protect the broader needs of national causes. Your commitment to family and God, must come before all other commitments including that of nonprofit activities in your community or to your church. If your time is so occupied in these other organizations that your personal responsibilities to reserve your own freedom is compromised, then that is foolhardy. If every person first protected their immediate families, then that love would translate to a better world as a whole.

We can't "save" the world. But we can save one individual at a time - and it makes most sense to start with the individual family unit. For this is where each of us can do this most effectively. Far too many children have reaped the emotional toll of a father or mother who set out to save their community, but neglected their well-being. This can lead them into a life of addictions and crime to fill the void and demand the attention they never received in childhood. If every husband and wife loved each other properly and there was genuine happiness in each home, imagine the kind of world in which we would live!
