How to Use the On-Line Virtual Community to Start a Local Network Group

The website: www.ValYOUnetwork.com has been set up to make it easy for you to start a local group. Whereas all our local groups used a different form-based method of creating groups, we are encouraging all leaders to use this new forum. It is free to do so.

People can easily join your group and then you can contact them via email. We suggest a name structure that begins with "ValYOU" and end with the area (town or city) you want to cover - such as:

ValYOU Lagos Nigeria (CITY/TOWN & COUNTRY)

Even if someone else has a group with the subtitle "Lagos, Nigeria" for instance, you can create another group within Lagos that targets a specific area within the city. We only want this naming structure to help people find you easier. They can do a search for you if you do not put a comma after the city name.

DIVERSITY OF FORMATS TO SUIT TARGET ACTION GROUPS: ValYOU groups can enter the competition as any size or type: a women's group, a men's group, a couple's group, a neighborhood group, a senior group, a company group, a church group, a community outreach group, etc.

Attention: Individuals, Couples, Friends, Schools, Clubs, Churches, Businesses!
Remember: a "group" can be just 2-3 people or much larger - you choose.

We also encourage the formulation of specific target groups such as government and civic leaders, pastors, medical professionals, or business owners. For instance your naming structure might go like this:

Or, you might want to create a networking group for your church, school or colleagues. Those groups can be named like this:

We do not want any leader to bring disrepute to the organization, so this is a safeguard measure.

Representation: We ask that you not represent yourself as an official agent acting on behalf of ValYOU. Rather, you are an independent group leader. We also ask that you not represent yourself as a qualified counselor if you have not had any specific, structured training. However, please understand that you can support and mentor others who want a listening ear and encouraging word.

Strict Confidentiality: We ask that you maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Presume that members do not want their information shared outside the group, whether this is specifically stipulated or not. This need for confidentiality should be periodically conveyed to the group. Our groups must be based on trust

1. TEAMWORK: A Force to Mobilize for Freedom

The founding fathers of the American constitution contended for a society free from outside captivity. We have a vision for a world free from bondage. This can only happen if people band together. Mobilization for reform doesn't have to be complicated or convoluted; change can be brought about by means as simple as two or more people writing a collective letter and then visiting an decision maker's office together to present your proposal for reform. Government representatives are more likely to listen to a local constituency of people presenting themselves face-to-face. This kind of personal relationship-building is what we are encouraging because the power of such an approach really works. Attacking with aggression rarely changes anything, but a local group who insists on on-going political accountability from their local representative is often extremely effective. Civil leaders can be held answerable to help either remove or bring in new legislation that will turn the tide on crime, suffering and injustice. They are even more likely to do so, if you will work with them towards that end. Alternatively, a group can use their Citizen Journalism press pass to give voice to their concerns. It is noteworthy that Communism was able to take over 40% of the globe with only a few dedicated, but organized members. We can take back stolen liberties with a similarly strategic approach opposite in motive. Organization and focus is key.

2. TRAINING: A Venue to Empower for Victory

Freedom also depends on gaining an educated edge. People who are alert to what is going on in the world around them are less likely to be disadvantaged. It is our passion to bring you freedom orientated insider-information not normally available through main stream channels as well as an education on health and finances not often taught in schools. You are just as capable as the next person. Perhaps you simply lacked the knowledge to execute your dreams. Once armed with practical how-to instruments of advancement, you can unleash your full potential. We look forward to facilitating our members in that quest.

Sensitive Approach: ValYOU's training is carefully presented to build bridges which will cross racial, cultural, denominational, socioeconomic and age barriers. Sensitivity is a hallmark as we endeavor to encourage personal growth and progressive strides within the lives of our members.

3. TRUST: A Pledge of Protection for Partners

We are easier controlled without support structures. ValYOU's creed of trust is a criteria to be able to band together in unity. The forces that don't want people to unite against control and corruption, know this and actively seek to prevent trust from being erected. Many a time, the cry is heard, "When I hit a crisis, I realized I had no close companions on which to call." Loyalty is a hallmark of this organization. The knowledge that we have our backs covered emboldens us to make greater strides towards claiming the life of liberty we deserve.

Raising Up Ethical Global Ambassadors: If we are going to raise up civic leaders with the courage to make a stand for integrity, they need the confidence that comes from knowing they are backed by a band of loyal comrades. With input from ValYOU, you can empower people with the truth to take back their freedom. Too many countries lack the quality of leadership necessary to bring its people to a place of strength. Otherwise upright constituents have set back and let corruption run rampant. It's time to take back entire countries. ValYOU leaders can change the face of communities by becoming proactive in government and economic free-enterprise reform.

Membership by Invitation Only: We respect and recognize the person who initiated local groups as the official "leader." Therefore, individuals who wish to join a local group can only do so with the approval of the leader. This allows the group to maintain the common focus for which it was originally formed and ensures compatibility of members. If accepted into a ValYOU local network group, a trust in your credibility and reputation to-date is signified. We encourage team members to take this pledge of integrity seriously in order to maintain their good standing with the group. If for some reason, you aren't able to join an existing group, the solution is simple: start your own.
